Billy Bear is a rescued dog that I adopted and brought back to Montreal with me while living abroad.

She is the funniest, most goofy girl — always giving us the cutest side eye. We say she’s a big dog in a small body because she loves playing with Huskys and Labs. She loves the beach, the sand, the snow, rolling in grass and hopping with a stick in her mouth.

Before my fiancé and I go to sleep, she gives us (both of us, one after the other) a lick on our cheek, literally saying goodnight to us, before jumping back into her bed from ours.

Her hair gets really long but we love to get her cleaned and trimmed for the summer. She has the most golden personality and the only thing that’s missing, is her voice. Her eyes can say everything. She is the most perfect rescue.
