We adopted Maddie at the SPCA when she was around 7 months old. She was abandoned, starving, and wanted the love she deserved. My dad and stepmom went to the free adoption day in Montreal, saw Maddie’s face (then named Anna), and fell in love. We were still grieving from losing our old dog Jake less than a year earlier, but nobody was able to say no to Maddie’s sweet face. 7 years later, we are so glad we made that decision. Not a day goes by where we don’t laugh at her antics and smile at her loving ways. She means everything to us and is our world!
