Kona is a rescue who was going to be brought to the pound by a breeder because she "did not look like her brothers and sisters and was born with a hernia defect that needed surgery." She is supposed to be a purebred Shiz Tzu, but obviously has more Pekingese in her DNA. So, in order to keep her from the pound, we rescued her first. She is now 10 months old and doing great. She goes to work with me and socializes with the 19 other dogs in the office daily. She LOVES people and other dogs and is a very happy little girl.
