Pet's Story or Bio
We believe Sandy is a Border Collie / German Shepherd mix. She made her home with us about nine years ago. Very intelligent and my constant companion, she likes going for walks and riding in the car. We have traveled thousands of miles together over the years, checking out numerous rest areas along the interstate highways on our journeys. Her favorite trips outside the home are the park, the pet store and the hardware store. She is a hardy and resilient girl who is also a one-year cancer survivor. In a home shared with other dogs and three cats (all rescues), she has asserted herself as the alpha and is gentle and protective of her housemates. She loves treats and back rubs. She has a sweet and loving disposition, and has never met a person she didn't like.
