I adopted Podsie (DLH Orange Tabby) in the summer of 2016. I had no intention of adopting another cat - that is, until Leopold (DSH Brown Tabby) came along during the winter of 2018. Leopold was a stray on the streets, who had found a makeshift home at the Trader Joe's near my apartment. I took him in before an extremely cold February, in hopes that I could either find his original home or at least give him a warm place until I was able to take him to a shelter. I originally kept Podsie & Leopold separated, not knowing how they would respond to each other. They proved this futile, as they would wiggle the door open while I was away so they could be with one another. Leopold's original home was never found, and I officially adopted him about 3 weeks after I found him. Podsie and Leopold are now inseparable, and choose to be near each other at every moment.
