The top
15 participants to receive the most votes when the voting period ends will be contacted by the SPCA of Texas to claim the following prizes:
1st Place:
Your beloved pet will be part of a specially arranged photo shoot for his or her "Model of the Month" feature in
SPCA of Texas's 2020 calendar,* Your pet's original photo submission will be featured as an inset on the back cover of the 2020 calendar
** AND you will receive two tickets to SPCA of Texas's annual
Fur Ball gala on September 21, 2019.
2nd Place:
Your pet's photo submission will be featured as an inset on the back cover of the 2020 calendar
** AND you will receive two tickets to the SPCA of Texas Paws Cause event Benefiting Southern Dallas Spay/Neuter and Wellness Initiative and The Mary Spencer Clinic at Village Fair
3rd Place:
Your pet's photo submission will be featured as an inset on the back cover of the 2020 calendar
** AND you will receive one $50 gift certificate to our retail store located at the Jan Reese Jones Animal Shelter, plus a basket of SPCA logo gift items.
12 Runners-up:
Your pet's photo will be placed either as an inset on a month spread, or prominently displayed on a special, one of a kind page for top vote-getters. You will also receive a special gift from the SPCA of Texas.
Additionally, all participants to achieve
500 votes or more for their photo entry will receive
four complimentary copies of the 2020 calendar by mail in November of 2019.
All entrants' entries will receive a 2020 wall calendar by mail in November of 2019.
Prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
A photo shoot for the cover of the 2020 wall calendar will be auctioned off at the 2019 Fur Ball on September 21, 2019. For more information on the event and to purchase tickets,

*A new color portrait will be taken of
one domestic pet by a professional photographer chosen by the SPCA of Texas. The photograph will be taken at our Dallas campus or a mutually agreed upon location, prior to October 2019.
This photograph will become a month page in the 2020 wall calendar. The SPCA of Texas will determine the month which features this pet. If you are unable to make a photo shoot, The SPCA of Texas reserves the right to select a replacement.
