Pet's Story or Bio
Camper was brought to the SPCA as a puppy, and then again as a 6 year old dog. My husband and I had recently moved to Dallas from NYC, and were so excited to get a dog of our own. When we first saw Camper, he put his front paws up on the glass in his pod at Jan Rees Jones and started scratching excitedly. We knew right away he was meant to be ours. We’ve had him now for 5 years this month, and he continues to be our Happy Camper, even at 11 years old and after being diagnosed with lymphoma last year. He’s sweet and silly, and loves chasing squirrels. We are so lucky to have found him!
