Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Punkin from Second Chance Spca and when we met her, along with our already in-resident rescue poodle, Pooh, she was a tiny, shy, long-legged Velcro puppy. But her adorable face and colorful, crazy terrier hair, and that Pooh really seemed to like her, made us want her as our new family member. It only took a few days for her to relax and let her zany personality come out! She is a stone-cold thief of everything from socks and the mail to our grandbaby's toys, and loves to eat the pecans that fall from the tree in our back yard. Her mile-long legs make her corner like a Ferrari when she's sprinting and she's as agile as a cat (she's great at playing The Floor is Lava). One of her favorite snacks is to share an apple with me and Pooh. Punkin is also very snuggly, especially when I have my heating pad on my back; she'll lay across my shoulders and get all toasty. She has quite the vocabulary when growling at imaginary bad guys outside, and runs them off with her rapid-fire yapping! Punkin is a constant source of laughter and love in our home!
