Brock began as a foster pet, we were only supposed to care for him during his heartworm treatment. When his then “foster dad“ first took him out of the car to come to our home for the first time, Brock gently stood up on his hind legs and “hugged” him. It was all over after that, and foster dad became official dog dad.
