Clyde Barker is the dog about town here in Big D. He loves to go places and is known to many from hither and yon bringing smiles and making 2-legged and 4-legged friends wherever he goes. He will gladly perform a variety of tricks from his rePETiore.

He is a smooth fox terrier-blue heeler mix from parts unknown and I have never seen another dog who looks like him. He was on the lam when we met back in June of 2010 when his name was Clint - he had cleverly escaped from his kennel at an ELPO adoption event inside a PetCo in Casa Linda.

He was wandering the store until he turned into the cat food aisle as I stocked up on food for my 2 kittos. He followed me around the store for 15 minutes or so and it was fun while it lasted but he was captured at the checkout line.

A volunteer from the adoption event encouraged me to take him home but I was flying out to NYC the next day and would be gone all week but I promised Clint I'd come back for him if he was still available.

I came back from NYC and, as promised, I went back and there he was AND he remembered me. I fostered him for a week to see if he got along with the two cats and he did. Adoption was official on 07/23/2010.
