Pet's Story or Bio
Just like his name, Hercules has had to overcome many challenges in his life. Hercules came to the SPCA of Texas in June 2018 in very poor condition. But with the tender loving care of their vet staff he is now big and strong, like his namesake. Herc came into my life in December 2019, right after he was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease. He is on numerous medications, prescription food, specific feeding parameters, and a special water setup, but when he lays in my lap and gives me puppy dog eyes I know all the extra work needed to keep him healthy and happy is worth it! Hercules loves to play with balls, especially talking balls, watchTV (Harry Potter is one of his favorites), chew on a bone or antler, lay in the sun on a cool day, and go for car rides. He is a little miracle pup!
