Pet's Story or Bio
Lomax is a 12-year-old Australian Cattle Dog (Heeler)/American Bulldog mix. She was adopted at 6 weeks old from The Colony Animal Shelter. She and her 12 brothers and sisters were all surrendered! She was only 5 pounds when she was adopted, but now she is 77 pounds! She is very smart, silly, sweet and full of joy. And, as you can see, incredibly good-looking! She used to have a kitty sister, Emmylou, but we lost Emmylou in the fall of 2019, she was 17. Lomax loves walks and sleeping and playing. She used to be an amazing ball and Frisbee player, but now that she is older, she can't jump high anymore. Well, she can jump, but when she lands, she hurts herself, so we avoid the jumps. She is not fond of most other dogs, but she has a lot of human friends and fans who follow her on her Instagram account, @lomaxthedog. She loves having visitors and she's so happy that friends can start coming over again, now that they are vaccinated.
