Pet's Story or Bio
Eragon is 14 years old. We got him when he was about 9 months old from a shelter. We had been at the shelter for over an hour trying to find a dog for our son and could not find the right dog. We were walking out and they were bringing Eragon in from a farm in Indiana where he had been crated his whole life (he was the last of the liter.) He was not potty trained, did not bark, and could not go down the stairs. He figured out all in no time at all.
Eragon can not hear anymore so we have developed sign language for him. He is a very easy going dog, e.g. - he will wait to drink water if our other dog or 2 cats is at the dish. He is not a fan of car rides but loves to be brushed. Eventhough he can not hear, he will "listen" if you sit next to him and talk. He will not move until you are done and only asks for a hug when done.
