My Mom's precious companion Maggie passed away after a very long 19 years. She was the last of a litter from a customer of mine in Justin. I couldn't leave her and brought her home to my animal loving Mom who was immediately furious with me, not needing another dog - (she had 3)! Momma named her within 10 minutes and this little dog was her close companion and friend for almost 2 decades. It was a devastating loss for my Mother and at 78 years old, she swore off any more animals though she found herself very lonely, Maggie being the last. Momma searched the SPCA here in Dallas, but ultimately found a rescue dog at our local shelter - The Tri City Animal Shelter serving Duncanville, Cedar Hill and DeSoto. Once again, she has a loyal companion that will not leave her side named Rainey that I will post as well.
