Harley is 11 and her birthday is in July. Her nickname is "Har har". My sister drove Harley to her new home as a puppy from Miami to Dallas during a visit. Roxi was my brother's Doberman that was a couple of years older and they became best friends. Sadly Roxi went to the Rainbow Bridge a couple of of years ago. When Harley was 2 she jumped wrong and broke her back knee and have to have surgery. She makes a whimper that sounds kind of sounds like weird for a dog almost like a meow. She isn't a big fan of dog toys. She loves to turn on her back and have her belly rubbed. She loves to chase cats on walks. She got skunked in the backyard this year and not knowing what it was we called the fire department. When she goes for a visit to the vet she always tries to hide under the chair when she hears her talking in another room. In the 11 years Harley has been with us she hasn't gotten used to my Aunt and cousin visiting for holidays and always hides from them. Maybe Harley wasn't socialized and trained as well as she could have been. She has curiosity of people and will just sit and watch them if she is on a walk. She has gone to a public dog swim for years. My mom has said Harley could have been a cat in a past life.
