I found Mia at a farmstead in late April. The director said she has been there about a month, she was very malnourished, abused, and scared, the workers would feed her but she wouldn’t go near them. On my way to work the first day I met her I fed her and to gain her trust gave her my blanket. I went to see her at lunch and after work to feed her, by that afternoon she let me pet her. I tried getting her in my car but she wouldn’t go near it. hI repeated the same steps the second day. My visit after work is when she let me love on her and walk with her. When I was getting ready to leave she jumped in my car and from there on I was HER person and ever since she doesnt leave my side.
