Pet's Story or Bio
Princess Blueberry Hippo came to me as a patient when I was a vet tech. She was previously rescued by the SPCA in 2020 after Hurricane Laura hit Louisiana. She was on the brink of death from heat exhaustion (as well as other ailments), but made a miraculous recovery. When she needed eye care, she came to my place of work (Veterinary Eye Institute). I immediately fell in love with her (as everyone else did) and knew she would be a wonderful addition to the family. She’s had such a big impact on so many people simply for being her hilarious, sweet self. I am even beginning to write/illustrate a children’s book about her!
