A little about me...
Mia was rescued by Speak at 6mos old. She was living outside chained to a igloo "house." At the vet, Mia was found to have been born w/a medical condition where she didn't develop a "poop hole." Her body developed a hole into her female parts to accommodate this. Speak found a surgeon willing to try & help correct her internal plumbing - but the surgery failed. Mia was in a lot of pain. They wondered if they should let her go... but she had such a will to live that they tried surgery again & it was a success! Mia lived in foster care for a year. I adopted her in December of 2018 with the knowledge there might be some accidents. She just celebrated her 7th birthday in July and we are so happy together. She is my world. She is so loving, just wants to hug you or lay on. Sweetest dog. Loves people, fetch, chewing her big hard toys and spending time w/her grandparents while I'm at work. Thank you Speak for saving her life & allowing me to be her mom.
