Frankie is a senior mixed breed, and he was found on the street in Redlands, California . He was placed in a local shelter and rescued by Yorkie Rescue of America. He was extremely malnourished, with bad teeth, dry, thin hair, and a curved spine from being curled up in a small cage his entire life! He was likely a breeding dog and discarded on the street after he was no longer useful, When he was rescued, he didn’t know how to drink or eat from a bowl, and his paw pads were never worn. It was obvious he never had a name, walked on a leash, or played with toys. After much love, care, and attention, he has gained weight, has thick, gorgeous fur, a straight spine, and a wonderful personality! Frankie is a great addition to our family, and he repays us with lots of cuddles and kisses. Frankie loves his new life and his new name. He receives so much attention wherever he goes! Frankie is a major star in our family & Los Angeles!
