Share Your Rescue's Story - What would you like to share with the voters about him/her?
Karma was picked up as a stray and found herself at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Pregnant. Permanently dislocated knee cap. Weeks went by. No one came looking for her. The Shelter then spayed her, even though she was near full term with a litter. (Don’t the ask about the puppies. 😢). Didn’t take long before she contracted Kennel Cough. Thankfully, she caught the eye of a Rescue Angel from LAF. (How could she not?!) The Rescue truly rescued her and got her out of there and to a veterinarian to get healthy.

Slight flashback... 4 months prior, my husband and I signed up as volunteers with Labradors and Friends... to help fill the void left by our previous perfect pup several months prior. We enjoyed the volunteering. We weren’t seriously looking to permanently fill that coveted spot in our hearts but... then one day a photo showed up as I scrolled through my newsfeed... The one that made my heart skip a beat💜.

The rest, as they say, is history. Now, almost 4 years later, Karma continues to inspire us to continue our volunteer work with the rescue. Yes, it’s true... Karma is a Bitch! But she’s OUR bitch and we couldn’t love her more if we tried. Thank you, Labradors and Friends. Voting for her will SURELY bring good Karma to you!
