Rescue dogs only please. The calendar is looking to promote rescuing, by showing off all the wonderful dogs that have come from rescues or shelters, as well as to raise funds to help support rescues. No age limits. No humans allowed in photos. Commercially reproduced photographs from professionals will not be accepted without proper releases.
Entry Fees & Voting
Each entrant must pay a minimum $25 entry fee per photo submission, which includes a free copy of the 2020 SpoofDawg to the Rescue calendar. If you donate for 5 or more votes in the entry process, you will receive 5 free votes on your entry.
Photos may include more than one rescue dog. Resolution of the image may limit its ability to be used in calendar.
Submissions will be accepted online from August 1st, 2019 to September 7, 2019. Voting by public during the submission period and until September 7, 2019 for $1 per vote (minimum $5 in votes).
Voters are prompted to make a donation (minimum $5 in votes) at the time of voting. Entries will receive one vote for every $1 donated during the voting process. After you submit your entry, you have the opportunity to ask your friends and family members to donate-to-vote by sending them the URL for your entry or using the "Tell-A-Friend" form when you log in to your account on the Contest website. Keep in mind that you cannot combine votes from separate photos/entries.
Proceeds from the collected votes and calendar entries support SpoofDawg to the Rescue, who aims to be the bridge to vital supplies, funds, and resources for animal rescues in need.
If you make a single or combined total of $25 donation in votes, you will earn ‘ONE FREE' copy of the completed SpoofDawg to the Rescue 2020 Calendar. Shipping is included.
- $25 will get 25 in votes and one calendar.
- $50 will get 50 in votes and two calendars.
- $ 75 will get 75 in votes and three calendars.
This formula will continue in counts of 25. Shipping is included.
Voters do not have to use all votes at the time of donation. Upon donation, voters will be given the option of applying all of the votes to one image or storing the votes in an account. If voters choose to store votes, they can be accessed and voted with a User ID and password at any time during the contest voting period.
All proceeds from this fundraising calendar, will benefit the various rescue partners and emergency efforts Spoofdawg to the Rescue is involved with.
Donations made through the SpoofDawg to the Rescue Calendar Contest and Online Voting donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Contact us for more information if a receipt is requested.
Entries with the most collected votes, will be determine the dogs featured in the calendar, including 12 dog photos for the calendar year.
Photos cannot contain people. Each photo entry may only be submitted once and must be submitted by the owner of the dog/s. All photos must be non-explicit in nature. Failure to abide by these rules and the contest waiver will automatically disqualify entry. Submitted photos will become the intellectual property of SpoofDawg to the Rescue Calendar Contest and its sponsors.
In the event winning photo submission does not meet reproduction requirements, those winners will be allowed to resubmit acceptable photo of the same dog in 14 days after notification.
Winners only will be notified by electronic or postal mail no later than October 1, 2019
Top Dogs (the dogs with the most votes) will win a placement in SpoofDawg to the Rescue 2020 calendar. The 12 dogs with the most votes will win a photo spotlight for a month in the calendar. (The month placement will be determined by SpoofDawg to the Rescue.)
Additionally, the participant who enrolls the photo with the most votes, will be selected to choose an animal rescue of their choice* to be awarded $1,000.
* Please note: The rescue selected must be a 501c3 and Board approval will be required prior to the prize being awarded.
- ONLY digital submissions will be accepted.
- Images must be horizontal (landscape) format.
- May include one or more dogs.
- Any image that includes people, or content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent or obscene, as determined by the staff, will be removed from the Photo Fundraiser.
- Subject to the approval of calendar printer for use as calendar art submission.
- Replacement photo may be requested in the event winning photo does not meet reproduction requirements and must be submitted in 14 days of the request by calendar designers.
