SPOT, Saving Pets One at a Time, is a small grass roots group making a big difference in San Diego county. We truly are saving one life at a time. We are an all-volunteer team working hard to help dogs and cats who will not make it in our local shelters.
SPOT takes the ones no one else will take due to age (too young and too old), behavior (shy, fearful, unsocialized), illness and/or medical needs (medical conditions and injuries that are pre-existing and/or recent caused by trauma). Our medical and behavior training bills are high but we do not want these animals to die due to lack of funds. They deserve a chance! And that is why your dollars are needed and will go far with SPOT. We have no paid positions and no overhead, so all monies raised go to help those who need it, the animals.
SPOT has been in existence for 10.5 years and in that time we have saved over 5600 dogs and cats who otherwise would not be here today.
