Contestant Entry Information
Photo entries should portray Rottweilers in a positive light and needs to be appropriate for all audiences. Please no people in your entries. No pictures of the dog doing anything unsafe or seen wearing pinch collars will be accepted. Digital photos are required. No black & white photos. Photos must be clear, of good quality and high resolution, 300 dpi or 1024x768 pixels in .jpeg or .tiff format. Blurry or unclear pictures will be rejected for the cover or monthly photo publication but will still be eligible for prizes and "Reserve A Date". Other pets are allowed in photo but at least one dog MUST be a Rottweiler. We're focusing on rescued Rottweilers but any companion Rottweiler photo will be accepted.


How to Enter
There is a $5 cost per entry into the contest. You may submit more than one photo in the contest but it must be of a different rottie. Only one photo per dog will be allowed to be "Rott of the Month". Winners are determined by the photo that gets the highest number of votes. Votes cost $1.00 each, $5 minimum. See "Voter Information" for more details.

Online: This method of entry will be available by visiting our website (www.gogophotocontest.com/SSRR2020) and following the directions provided to fill out the entry information, and submit. Photos should be in JPEG or TIFF although JPEG/JPG is the preferred form. Photo size should be at least 300 dpi (1024X768 pixels) and no greater than 5MB. All submitted photos are subject to review by SSRR for inappropriate/offensive content. Inappropriate entries will not be permitted and any donations related to those submissions will not be refunded. IMPORTANT NOTES: The contest winner image will be published on a calendar and you must have a version of your entry saved with the following requirements to be acceptable for printing.

*300 dpi required (1024x768 pixels)
*Horizontal/landscape photos are preferred
* We reserve the right to crop the photo so it will fit properly on the page
*Photos should be clear, clean and in focus
*JPEG, .TIFF files preferred


Agreement to Official Rules
Participation in the Contest constitutes entrants full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.


Contest Period
Photos will be accepted for the 2020 Rott of the Month calendar contest website from Sept. 9, 2019 12:00:00 AM (CST) through Sept 29, 2019 at 9:00 PM (CST) for public viewing. Votes will be accepted for the SSRR2019 contest website for the same time period.


Voter Information
  • Each $1 donation counts as 1 vote with a $5 minimum
  • We encourage you to e-mail the contest link to family and friends and encourage them to vote for your favorite contestant's photo. Also share via Facebook & Twitter!
  • All donations are tax deductible and non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Donations and photo entries for this online contest that are submitted via other means (snail mail, in-person or main website donation page) will be accepted as donations but not applied toward the contest. Contest payments online are through a secure site.

Winner Notification
The winners will be notified by email Monday, September 30, 2019. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within three (3) days after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, the Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place from the next non-winning, eligible top vote-getter.


Eligibility
2020 Rott of the Month Calendar Contest is open to anyone who is at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. The Contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Entry photos must have at least one companion Rottweiler, rescued preferred.


General Conditions
All submitted photos and information become the property of SSRR to be used at their discretion for any and all marketing purposes without any additional compensation. By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. SSRR reserves the right to disqualify at any time any photo it determines to be unsuitable. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you. You agree to indemnify SSRR and hold them harmless from and against any claims of any nature arising in connection with the Contest. Entrants grant SSRR all rights of ownership, reproduction and royalty-free indiscriminate use of entries and photographs for any purpose. By submitting a photo to the SSRR Contest the artist agrees to give and grant to SSRR, its employees, nominees, agents, successors and assigns, unlimited authorization, consent and permission to publish and use, any and all information about the pet and any and all reproductions of pet's likeness (photographic or otherwise), and with or without the use or disclosure of owner's name. SSRR and the contest sponsors are not responsible for any technical problems or for late, lost, incomplete, stolen or misdirected entries. In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, bug, worm, unauthorized human intervention or other technical problem, or in the event the Contest is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules or (b) terminate the Contest and, in the event of termination, award the prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorneys fees) and any other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.


Release and Limitations of Liability
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Southern States Rescued Rottweilers, , and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto), including, but not limited to: (a) any technical errors associated with the Contest, including lost, interrupted or unavailable Internet Service Provider (ISP), network, server, wireless service provider, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone, cellular tower or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest; (c) mechanical, network, electronic, computer, human, printing or typographical errors; (d)application downloads, (e) any other errors or problems in connection with the Contest, including, without limitation, errors that may occur in the administration of the Contest, the announcement of the winner, the cancellation or postponement of the event and/or the flyover, if applicable, the incorrect downloading of the application the processing of entries application downloads or in any Contest-related materials; or (f) injury, death, losses or damages of any kind, to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrants participation in the Contest or acceptance, receipt or misuse of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto). Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Contest, and in no event shall the entrant be entitled to receive attorneys' fees. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.


Disputes
Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Tennessee. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Tennessee, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Tennessee.


Privacy
Information collected from entrants is subject to sponsor's privacy policy.


Agreement to Official Rules
Participation in the Contest constitutes entrants full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein. In accepting any prize, the winner acknowledges that the SSRR may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using prize(s).
