Meet Opal 💜
Once a scared young mama from the Wellpinit reservation, Opal raised her puppies while she was still a puppy herself. After they found homes, she spent six long months shut down in a shelter kennel at Spokanimal.

Then she got her chance — she was supposed to go to a rescue and that fell through so I brought her home to foster. The moment she walked in, she exhaled. She was home. Her sweet, gentle spirit finally bloomed, and what was meant to be “temporary” turned into forever.

Today Opal is a foster-fail success story, living her best cozy-couch life and reminding us that the shy ones often have the biggest hearts.
