Mouse came to us in the first year of STAHR’s existence, March 2020. His previous owner was hospitalized and the State asked STAHR to care for Mouse. Mouse was fostered for almost 8 months waiting for his owner to reclaim him after being hospitalized. During that time STAHR reached out to the State and sent letters to the owner. Mouse was never claimed so as Mouse’s 2nd foster we decided to adopt him. He has been a joy and our Beagle loves having him around. He can be a bit bossy for the Beagle when it’s time for their daily walks. The Beagle moves slower than Mouse. Mouse is playful and has many toys he leaves around the house. He hasn’t learned to pick up his toys when he’s done with them. lol
