Bucky was adopted brand new in Chicago for $15.00 when I was seven months pregnant and five days after buying a house.

There is an oil painting of Bucky in our living room, but none of our girls. When the girls' school was told our girls had a brother and wanted his name, I said "It is BUCKY and he is a dog". A dog loves you when no one else does; you can be dirty, sick, mean or ugly. They don't care. We have had a lot of dogs; Bucky was the least well behaved (he did eat homework,) but best loved.
