Benji was badly abused and was rescued from the Putnam shelter with no time left to spare. He came to us very skittish and scared. Over the past 10 months we have showered him with love and attention. It has healed his soul (and ours). He no longer cowers in fear and enjoys giving and receiving attention. He has an outstanding personality. In this picture he is doing what most of us enjoyed doing before bottled water became the society standard. Remember the freedom you felt drinking from a garden hose? I think if he could speak he'd tell us that "Life is good."
