This is a photo of our black lab, Ryder, and our golden retriever, Trooper. My husband and I rescued Ryder through Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida. We have had him for just over a year now. He required major surgery on both back knees, but he is now healed and very active. One of his favorite pastimes is using Trooper as a sofa. He does not sit on his own; he will only sit on Trooper. The vet believes his back end hurts and Trooper makes it easier for him to get up and down. Whatever the reason, it is always a source of amusement.
