About My Dog
We had just lost our long-time family dog of 15 years, Buddy, RIGHT before we moved to STX full-time in 2018. We were sad that he never got to play on the beach. We weren't "Ready for another dog, but when we went to buy a small trailer off Craigslist from a couple leaving the Island, we met their dog named Happy! "Everything Goes, including the Dog" they said. He was all over us and we melted and .. instant Doggie! His name is PERFECT! We had a few rough times for a while, but he ALWAYS made it better. And yes, he's ALWAYS HAPPY! Everyone who meets him says "I'm gonna steal him!" ... he's THAT kind of dog. We now have 3 rescues and we care for four other local strays, but Happy is our FIRST winning lottery ticket for the soul. :) Much Love!
