Your Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Jake (called Legend) at St Huberts in North Branch in 2005. He was brought to the shelter from West Virginia. He has brought us joy for 16 years.
We decided to travel with him at an early age and he has visited beaches from Cape May to Cape Cod. He loves swimming and resembles a seal when wet. He has taken more than 30 ferry rides in his lifetime and stayed in many pet friendly motels and summer rentals . In 2012, we moved to Cape Cod where Jake has a choice of beaches to explore.
Jake will be 17 next month. He has slowed down now, sleeping most of the day and only taking short walks in the neighborhood. We cherish the time we have left with him. Thanks to St Huberts for bringing us together.
