Daisy was one of the beagles that St. Hubert’s received when the HSUS was working with the DOJ to free 4,000+ unsocialized beagles from Envigo in 2022. She was released during the NDA period due to extreme medical needs (she gave birth to her last litter 4 days before she was released). The beagles that Envigo had were being sold for animal research and Daisy was a puppy mill momma, spending her life churning out puppies.

Daisy is the sweetest soul. She turned 11 on February 1 and has been living her best life. I am so thankful that Sarah asked me to take her on a field trip when I ran into her at St. Hubert’s that day in July 2022 - Daisy came home with me on what was supposed to be a field trip and never left!
