Gracie a Great Pyrenees, is a rescue from Kentucky. She came to St. Hubert's named Silky. The family surrendered her to a rural high kill shelter because they could not afford to feed her. Menefee County KY Shelter saved her from euthanasia. A veterinarian who cleared her for transit to NJ told her husband she was one of the most amazing dogs, he said go back and get her! She did but was already in transit! When I met Gracie, the workers at St Hubert's said how did we miss that one? She is a natural love, with children and anyone she has visited in hospitals or nursing homes. She was 18 months when adopted, and now 10yrs. What a truly amazing dog!! We are so blessed! Her eyes are the window to her soul! Thank you, St Huberts for bringing her to us!
