Dog's Story or Bio
Staci is an STS alum adopted in May 2019. She is an 8-month-old Husky/Boxer/Lab mix, who has an enormous love, zeal, and zest for life. Her favorite pastimes are playing in the yard, people/dog watching, making people smile, and cuddling with her family. She loves to dig (specifically for large rocks-her favorites are granite and geodes). For example, she dug a 2-foot deep hole for a large chunk of granite. Never bothered the hole again. She then hoards the rocks in her pile. Staci is literally a "rock-hound". This is a great arrangement as her Dad is a geologist who also hoards rocks. Staci loves her daily training sessions, and loves to amaze her family by learning new commands in under a day. However (in typical stubborn Husky fashion) she then decides when she does them, although treats are a great motivator!
