Why I am a Ravishing Rescue?
I was deemed a non-viable "runt of the litter", and taped inside a shoebox to await my fate. Another person witnessed this, freed a very scared little me, and then took me her her vet. The clinic's vet tech's took turns fostering me until the senior tech adopted me, but after a year she experienced a major life change and was concerned her new circumstances would not provide a stable life for me. She reached out to a couple she knew who were "cat people" and whose previous kitty has passed away a year before at the ripe old age of 23. She asked if they would consider giving me a loving furrever home. They said yes, I moved in and wrapped my little paws around their hearts, and have been their loyal kitty / furry child ever since. They provide me with food, a warm place to sleep, scritches whenever I permit them, playtime, vet care (I'm iffy about that one) and supervised outdoor trips to the front and backyard. In return, I provide household security (they call me Captain Watch Cat, because nothing gets by me!), occasional comic relief (I'm a bit of a klutz, and a bit hyper on occasion), and I snuggle up to them (and sometimes knead) when I'm in the mood. I love them and they love me, so it's all good! I may have had a rough start, but thanks to the alert and tender-hearted person who freed me, the caring people at the vet's office, my first "mom" (and my furry siblings at her place), and now my forever pawrents.... my life has turned out just fine. I'm a happy kitty!
