Why I am a Ravishing Rescue?
Tesla came to me as a 3wk old orphan; he quickly became a foster fail thanks to our incredible bond and his quirky inability to cat. He struggled to figure things out as a youngster; was terrified of everything!
Named Tesla because his purr was nearly silent and he was found in a garage wearing his fancy tuxedo!
Tesla gained confidence over the years with my love and support. He talked to me constantly and when he started venturing outside, at 3yrs old, he'd come back in and spin circles on my lap meowing in excitement as he told me all about his adventures! He was incredibly proud when he caught his first rodent! Pride was beaming from his adorable little face as he showed it off to me.
He'd talk to me over the phone when I was out of town and he'd show me how much he missed me by licking the tip of my nose upon my return; something he only did when he missed me. When he wanted to be by my side, he'd meow loudly until he heard me call his name back and we'd do that back and forth until he came prancing up to wherever I was! Not a trot, a literal prance!
He was always the first to befriend new fosters and helped raise his foster fail sister, Potter, from 2wks old.
He was always by my side, talking to me so much we could have conversations! We understood each other.
I was devastated when cancer stole him away just shy of turning 5 years old; still am devastated. He will always be my kittens; my precious baby boy.
