Why I am a Ravishing Rescue?
Everyone has their first. Tiger was my first. After moving into Lafayette Square in 2006 I noticed quite a few stray cats were finding their way to my doorstep. Perhaps people were losing homes, moving, leaving pets behind. Who knows. But Tiger kept coming back letting me earn his trust. Finally I was able to trap and get him to the vet to be neutered. He was my first TNR. And in the 8 years to follow I TNR'd about 25 strays and ferals. Until April 5th when Tiger was shot and killed, probably by our neighbor. MISS YOU!
