Your Cat's Adoption Story
After our beloved cat of 17 years passed away, we thought we’d never open our home to another. But Irene sauntered her way into our hearts with her funny idiosyncrasies and adorable chutzpah. She is the pickiest eater we’ve lived with since our now-grown son thwarted any recipe containing onions at age 6. She loves her tuna. No additives! She practically worships her catnip bananas and has even dissected one along its seam, leaving catnip potpourri all over the kitchen floor. She unabashedly assumes any glass of water I’ve poured for myself is an offering for her furry lips. She zooms around the house with the speed of a greyhound, collecting chin scratches and surveying her kingdom. She “makes biscuits” like nobody’s business and welcomes all of our guests like a Walmart greeter. We love her and it’s pretty clear the feeling is mutual. She is a gift.
