Your Cat's Adoption Story
In 2018, we decided to find a companion for Penny, a kitten we'd adopted a few months earlier. When we first met Olive at a SCB PetSmart adoption center, she weighed barely 2 pounds. Yet when she was taken out of her cage, she walked around batting at the other, much larger cats also up for adoption. This was just a sign of what was to come. Olive is a cat with many quirks. She loves to nurse on her special yellow blanket, the sploot is her preferred sitting position, and she enjoys jumping up walls for no apparent reason. We often refer to her as "Nibbler" for her habit of biting elbows and ankles when she wants your attention. She has a terrible meow (she sounds like a 2-pack a day smoker) so thank goodness for her good looks and charming personality.
