Your Cat's Adoption Story
My furry little buddy of 13 years passed away in January 2022. It was a devastating loss. And it was the first time I had lived in a cat-less home in over 45 years. In February I started looking for a cat to adopt, and I saw Doja's photo online. She had been returned to SCB due to a move. After meeting Doja at the Collegeville PetSmart (where she hid in a corner and refused to acknowledge anybody) I took her home. I thought it would take her a few days to warm up to the new surroundings, but the next morning I awoke to find her snuggling in bed next to me. And she started prancing around the house like she owned the place. Doja is now known as Zuma, and is a wonderful, goofy companion (and yes, her photo is right-side up).
