Your Cat's Adoption Story
In 2017, we lost our previous cat to cancer and our house was just not a home. After losing her, our oldest son said, "I never want to go through this again." A few months later, we went to an SCBI event on a whim, with no expectation of adoption. However upon meeting Rusty, he melted our hearts. When our eldest son held Rusty, he immediately purred and licked his face, to which our son said, "We're not leaving without this cat!" Not to be outdone, our youngest son, who is allergic to cats, has not missed an allergy shot since Rusty's adoption. Rusty is truly loved and adored (and spoiled) and we cannot thank SCBI enough for making our family whole again.
