Your Cat's Adoption Story
We adopted 3 month old Chloe December of 2010. The sign on her cage said "HISSES". We knelt down beside her cage and she was hiding in the back corner. When she saw us she hissed once. That was the one and only time she has ever hissed since we got her. We said "hello kitty" and she hopped out to the center of her cage and rolled over on her back. We took that as a good sign so we took her home that day and she adapted with ease to us and her new home. Two days later Linda Weber, the founder of Stray Cat Blues, called. She was concerned about Chloe's acclimation to her new home. She was worried that we might want to return her. We assured her that she was a member of our family and here to stay.
