Your Cat's Adoption Story
Lyra, and her brother Gryphon (Alexa and Allister), were in the Petco in Collegeville when we walked into the store just to take a look, after stopping at the Halloween store next door. We didn’t intend to adopt, yet we were so taken with Gryphon’s outgoing personality and Lyra was so pretty and shy. She was just curled up at the back of their cage. We took the two week trial option and by the end of day one, it wasn’t a trial anymore. We all fell in love. Lyra took a couple of days to adjust to her new home and family, and she has been the sweetest kitty. She is still a bit skittish with new people, but very loving once she feels comfortable. She is always by her human mommy’s side, with a paw on her to know she’s still there while she’s napping.
