Your Cat's Adoption Story
We adopted Mochi from the PetSmart North Wales location in September 2020. She was a little black fluff ball curled up in the back of the kennel. Her papers said that her name was Clea, a 4 month old kitten found on the streets with her brother in center city. I asked if I could hold her and the volunteer said I could try because she’s quite shy. I scratched her chin, she inched forward more and more with each scritch. When I picked her up, she melted into my arms and looked up as if to say, “Can you take me home now?” She stole our hearts that fast. We picked up supplies, filled out the papers and that was that! On our way home, we decided to name her Mochi because she is small and sweet like the classic Japanese treat.
