Your Cat's Adoption Story
My precious cat of 12 years, Bamboo, had been battling heart failure for quite some time and was seemingly stable on his medication. On New Year's Eve, he unexpectedly declined and passed away. After I had some time to grieve, I wanted to honor Bamboo by opening my home and heart to another cat in need. I found Growley on Petfinder. He was described as a 7 or 8 year old adult male cat who was the only cat in his household and whose owner had recently passed away unexpectedly. I was a grieving cat mama who had lost her cat and he was a grieving cat who had lost his cat mama. We were both two halves of a hole and needed each other to be complete. It was meant to be.
