Billie Jean was found stray and pregnant in Fresno, CA and rescued by Stumptown Strays! We adopted her in May 2023 after losing both our dogs within one week just a few months before. Our house felt so quiet and empty without the joy of a dog, and as soon as we met her, we knew the universe brought us together for a reason: to heal our hearts with joy. Billie is 25 pounds of half pittie and a little bit of Australian Shepherd and Shih Tzu (and mutt). She is smart, loving, mischievous, and playful. She obsessed with fetching a tennis ball (hence her namesake), snuggling on laps, adoring humans with kisses, chasing her toys down the hall, napping under soft blankets, chasing squirrels, and sleeping under the covers. She is the light of our world and spreads joy to everyone she meets.
