Tortilla (then Marshmallow) was adopted from Stumptown Strays in 2023! She lives happily with her furry siblings (Marcos🐕‍🦺 and Boba🐈‍⬛) and her parents, Joey and Cj.
Born deaf, she was recently diagnosed with the auto immune disorder SLO, but she won’t let that stop her! Tortilla got her name because of the way she loves to flop and how much it can look like a warm flour tortilla.
She was trained using a form of abbreviated ASL. “Jazz hands” is the command that lets her know she’s a good girl and she absolutely lights up when she sees it!
