Rookie is personally responsible for the Boston Red Sox post-season success in 2007, having joined our family (from the SPCA) just in time for October baseball! He is named after "Rookie of the Year" Dustin Pedroia, and faithfully roots for the Sox year after year. He is a Lab/Sharpei mix and the sweetest dog ever in the history of ever--just look at that smile!!! If you google "Man's Best Friend", Rookie's picture shows up!

Despite his 65 pound frame, Rookie is convinced he's a lap dog. I do not discourage that notion!
