Our Freckles has kidney disease with less than 30% function, that will ultimately take her from us. She's receiving wonderful medical care and lots of love from us. My husband adopted her from a rescue shelter when she was seven years old. He was freshly divorced and she helped him through so many tough times. That's how it is with a wonderful animal family member. We're not sure who rescued whom! She has little to no pain so we're loving her to pieces keeping her happy and comfortable in the meantime.
