As a local community-based organization, Suncoast CAI is honored to support organizations that help the homeless companion pets in the Tampa Bay Area. Pet Pal Animal Shelter and Friends of Strays Animal Shelter are just two of those organizations doing such good work. Each organization is close to the heart of our Executive Director Laura Hagan who adopted Addie from Pet Pal and is fostering a kitten for Friends of Strays. Help us support the good work of these organizations while having fun with our own pets in our Suncoast CAI Pet Of The Year Contest. The animals are counting on us to make a difference, that's why every single vote counts.


Top three winners via the top number of votes (1st, 2nd, 3rd) will have their pets featured in an upcoming issue of Suncoast Review, including a feature photograph and feature story. All three winners will receive a gift box from The New Barker dog magazine, and a gift certificate to a pet-friendly Tampa Bay Area restaurant. The three pets will also be our mascots for the 2023 Suncoast CAI Day.


Suncoast Chapter of Community Associations Institute CAI is a non-profit organization that serves the educational, business and networking needs of community associations in the Tampa Bay area. Members include condominium, cooperative and homeowner associations as well as those who provide services and products to associations. The Suncoast Chapter has approximately 840 members including nearly 300 community associations and individual homeowners, 280 businesses and 230 managers and management companies. The chapter is one of 60 chapters in the country.
