Your Pet's Story or Bio
Hitchcock and Birdie are brother and sister. They were strays on my base at Balad, Iraq. At 3 1/2 months old, they began their long journey to America. They spent 3 months in quarantine in Kurdistan and then were flown to NY. After a day of vet checks in NY, they were put on a flight to Miami where I was reunited with them. Operation Baghdad Pups and the International SPCA made it possible to bring these beautiful babies to their forever home with me in Port Charlotte. They’ve been US citizens for 4 years and they are the loves of my life. I am so thankful to everyone that made their long journey possible.
